A SUPER EARLY-BIRD  DISCOUNT OF $50 IS OFFERED FOR THOSE WHO REGISTER BEFORE FEBRUARY 1 & PAY CRAFTS AND REGISTRATION IN FULL.   A EARLY-BIRD  DISCOUNT OF $40 IS OFFERED FOR THOSE WHO REGISTER  FEBRUARY 2 - MARCH 31.   A  DISCOUNT OF $30 IS OFFERED FOR THOSE WHO REGISTER BETWEEN APRIL 1 & MAY 31, 2010

All online registrations will require the use of a credit card.   Those desiring to pay camper fees with a check must fill-out and mail a paper registration along with check to CAMP AO-WA-KIYA/4036 W OMAHA/GRANDVILLE,MI 49418

Week #4: Junior High Camp, July 11- 17/Speaker>>Mark Shaffer/cost> $240 

Week #5: Elementary Camp, July 18 - 24/Speaker>> Kirby Huseby/cost>$240 

Week #6: Elementary Camp,July 25-31/Speaker>> Kirby Huseby/cost>$240 

Week #7: Elementary Camp (shortened week)  Aug 1-5/Speaker>>TBA/cost>$220 

Each day's activities include flag raising and a hearty breakfast, morning chapel( time of singing and Bible study)Team or cabin recreation activities are followed by Lunch and rest period and then two separate craft activities in which to learn or improve existing skills.  After supper there is free time and an evening fun and fellowship chapel held in the Five Pines Building.   The craft and afternoon activity centers will be used again for both 2010  Sr HI camp weeks.

Adventure Crafts (in the woods):
*Horsemanship: Camp Ao-Wa-Kiya along with Rainbow Ranch, offers training in riding and caring for horses. This craft takes both craft hours. Fee: $100 for weeks 3-6 and $80 for week 7
*Challenge Course craft/Rock Climbing craft:
Adventure, team building, Communication, Low Ropes, High Ropes, Climbing tower and Zipline. This craft focuses on building trust and relationships with Christ and others. Fee: $15 each These crafts are available high school and junior high weeks. Rock climbing will be offered elementary weeks as well without the challenge course.
*Archery/.22 Riflery Combined Craft:
Throughout the week campers will learn new skills in both archery and .22 riflery learning how to sharpen their skills and learn proper safety techniques. The end of the week will culminate with a scored tournament based on accuracy. Fee: $10 This craft is available  junior high weeks. Archery and Air Riflery will be available as separate crafts for elementary weeks (no fee)(Shooting range is a selective activity for Sr HI weeks included in registration fee)
Outdoor Life:
Learn skills that will make backpacking and living in the great outdoors enjoyable as you make food and shelter and learn the secrets of gourmet dehydration cooking...mmmmm-yummy!  Available all weeks

Waterfront Crafts (on the water):
Canoeing/Sailing Combined Craft:
Throughout the week campers will learn both canoeing skills and sailing skills. Campers will learn not only how to sail and canoe, they will learn setup and the proper care of boats as well.
These crafts will be combined for junior high weeks and separate for elementary. (Waterfront is a selective activity for Sr HI weeks offering swimming/ice berg, waterskiing, tubing, sailing, canoeing and sunbathing ! )
Swimming Craft:
The swim area is a Life Guard monitored zone where campers with varying swim skills enjoy water activities. The addition of our "Ice Berg" has lent a new level of excitement to the swim area. Available all weeks.
*Waterskiing/Tubing Combined Crafts:
Experienced instructors will teach you how to ski for the first time or advance your skills in any area. Fee: $15 Available high school and junior high weeks.

Creative Crafts (indoor crafts):
*Picture Scrap booking:
Take pictures during the week and then create your own memory album. Camera, scrapbook, developing and supplies provided. Fee: $40 This craft is available Jr HI and Elementary weeks.
Handcrafts:
Make various projects which may include leather, T-shirts, hats, jewelry and others. Take your creations home with you at the end of the week. Available all weeks.
*Rocketry:
Build, decorate, paint, and launch your rocket. Rockets are made from a kit that you purchase once you arrive at camp. Fee: $20 Available Jr HI and Elementary  weeks.

Additional activity centers for Sr HI weeks include-bowling-paintball course,  mini-golf and a go-kart ride in Silver Lake
